We were so lucky to have our cousin Greyson {and his mom Mary & dad Peter} from Oregon visit us for a week in August! Peter was working on a commericial in SLC so he brought the fam. It was so great. Here's a few pictures...
{The love touch} Greyson is about 6 months older than Aidan, & they are so funny. Grey couldn't stop touching Aidan's head.
{Temple Square} Mary & Greyson had never been to Temple Square, so it was fun to visit the top tourist site in Utah with fresh eyes! {And no, Aidan isn't sleeping...I only wish.}
{Model of Jerusalem} If you haven't been to Temple Square its great place. Not only is it beautiful, but educational. There are also movies, tours, artwork, family history libraries, & other great things to see and do. Even if you aren't religious you can appreciate the architecture of the Salt Lake Temple {which took 40 years to build} & the gorgeous landscaping on the temple grounds.
This is a small scale model of Jerusalem during Christ's time explaining where things took place.
{The group} Steph, Peter, Mary, & the kids...
{The tour} Yeah, I'd say any sort of "tour" is less effective for these little guys. :)
{The Tabernacle} Behind Peter and cute Greyson is the Salt Lake Tabernacle. Yes, this is where the Mormon Tabernacle Choir got its name. For years this building hosted General Conference {when the entire 13 million members of the church meet via satellite to hear from church leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints}. Now an larger building called the Conference Center hosts the bi-annual {April & October} event for the church.
Come visit us again soon! Love you guys!
