{Shabby Sweet Eye Owl Beanie}
Love it. I can't knit so using yarn was out. My sewing skills are minimal, but I did make that easy stuffed owl. So why not sew an owl beanie?!
I'm not usually into "Guest Blogging"--I can barely keep up on my own blog--but when How Does She contacted me I couldn't resist. Its a great, classy blog full of super pictures. So I decided to give the owl beanie a shot.
I love it.
I asked my niece Imogen to put this sweet thing on for a few shots & she didn't want to take it off! {Maybe I'm onto something...kids actually keeping their hats on?! I'm crossing my fingers it will work for my boys!}
For the free pattern and step by step picture tutorial head on over to How Does She! And give yourself a few minutes...there's some super fun stuff to see!
And soon I'll post the tutorial for this bad boy {pictured below} here at Toad's Treasures.

That beanie is stinkin cute! I'm not really a sewer (yet) but I want to be. My daughter's bday is coming up so I'm thinking about giving this a try. What's the worst that could happen...right? :)

Thank you so much for the awesome tutorial! This hat is just so adorable! I saw it this afternoon and just had to try it right now! My daughter LOVES it!!
I even improvised and used some old clothes to make it!
