Game #2 Super Hitters!

I couldn't help but post some of these pictures from our 2nd t-ball game. What a cute group of kids. I love how one of the most asked questions of this age group has nothing to do with the rules, but if they get snacks after the game...at least they leave with a good taste in their mouths!

This week was hot {again}, but these little people made the best of it. And "Take me out to the ballgame" is getting better too!:)

{Nice Ethan!} He was so excited...he fielded his 1st ball today. However, those that heard my talk on Sunday can see why was I talked about how hard it is for young ones to "keep their eyes on the ball";). {Take note of the fielders.}

{Determined} You might remember our cute Hollee from soccer...love this gal. And notice Ethan running behind her...he was the last batter and got to run around all the bases, and yes he loved that too! Thanks LaVon for being the 1st base coach & for holding Aidan!

{So cute} This is the youngest player on our team. But look at the cutie behind him.

{Hurt foot} Look at this little man...he hit the ball and ran around all the bases without any excuses. If only we all had that drive.

{Go Super Hitters!} Yes, our soccer team was Super Kickers & now we are Super Hitters. After a 5/5 tie inbetween Tigers and Bees I kindof swayed the team to like Super Hitters. Couldn't have any sad teammates because they didn't get the name they wanted! {Yeah, I know, creativity was really flowed with this one.}

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Here's another addition to my series of "Things I Love About Utah". The super fun minor league baseball games!

Our family got in for $9 {with an entertainment book coupon}, got a free train ride along the backside of the stadium, played on the playground that included a bouncy slide and maze, watched a great sunset, rolled balls and chased them, ate cotton candy, sang "Take Me Out To The Ballgame", & drove home in 15 minutes.

{The Grassy Hill}
We sat on the grass behind the fence inbetween center and left field. There was a slight hill and Aidan couldn't crawl/attempt to walk up and down it a hundred times. He would hit the ball down and chase after it. {Which is also an activity that he enjoys at home or anywhere there a ball.}

And it was also an exciting preparation for a Rookie T-ball Coach {Yes, that's me} and a 1st time T-ball player {Ethan}! And after our 1st game I've decided that one of my top priorities would be teaching the kids "Take Me Out to the Ballgame". Yes, I made a fool of myself trying to get the team to sing {Ethan help me out thank goodness} , but we have 5 more games to do it!

By the way, this team could not be ANY cuter.

I've been featured!

Remember a while back when I posted about Ethan's Soccer Team Party?

Photobucket

I was featured on this super cute blog! I love this blog and get alot of cute ideas from it.

And since I'm on the topic {and since T-ball starts Thursday}, I figured I'd post some pictures from the soccer season! So, a little late....but here they are!:)

{Hollee} I'm featuring this picture 1st because I love this little gal. She was the only girl on our team, and only the only one to score a goal almost every game! She's one of Ethan's best little friends...and I think they may be why she signed up.;) And this isn't the last you'll see of her...she's going to play tball too. Can't wait.

Photobucket

{Action packed!} Yes, every now and then "cluster ball" gave way to a break away.

Photobucket

{Team Cheer} A highlight for these little guys...our team cheer! Go Super Kickers!

Photobucket

{Hard times} Sometimes a lack of goal making lead to some sad faces. {But how cute is he!!}

Photobucket

{Fun times} And while some where sad, others were enjoying every minute. {Even if it was only because of their cool visor and sunglasses.} I can't help but smile when I see this picture...

Photobucket

{Great Season} All in all, a great fun season!

Photobucket

{Trophy} And after asking each game for his trophy...he got it! And he was one happy little soccer player!
