Simple Things Sunday: A Fresh Babe

There's nothing like a clean babe...soft skin, sweet smelling, & running around with a naked bum.  Not sure why little boys are so empowered when they are striped down, but that manhood is surely seen around this place!

Happiness @ I {Heart} Faces

Head on over to one of my favorite photography websites...I Heart Faces...and check out some incredible "happy" pictures. This week's theme is happiness.  Who couldn't use a bit of that in their life?!

Aidan's Happiness:  I can't tell you how many hours this kid has spent on this swing!  Each summer when we head to my parents house in Oregon...if you can't find Aidan you can bet he's one place...on what used to be the old tire swing! (Some of you may have had your little heart pounding on that tire swing as a kid!) 

I loved twisting, turning, and flying on that swing...having the time of my life as a kid.  The old twisted rope and tire swing are gone now, but replaced with a somewhat safer version-a chain and swing-and now the little tadpoles get their turn. 

Happiness as a kid is pretty easy to come by, especially when your stomach drops and the wind is blowing in your face each time you fly by. LOVE that swing.

About the Shot:
My little 2 year old tadpole and his proud papa in the best 1' 8" kiddie pool that Seaside had to offer. Swimming and diving down in the water--eyes open of couse--is our little man's new passtime.

PS: No, Bob doesn't have hearing aids {although that would explain our frequent miscommunication...;)}, the white things by his ears are actually the earphones for a waterproof MP3 player.   I know, lap swimming just became a whole lot more fun!:)

I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever catch up with all of the pictures I have to share with you.   Darn it.

I just had to throw this picture into this week's photo challenge at I {Heart} Faces.  There is something about a this little guy's contagious giggle that keep me coming back for more.  I'd push him all day on a swing just to hear it...even if I wasn't his mom.;)
