Quick. Grab some empty soup cans, fabric scraps {I washed mine to give them a "shabby" look}, and your hot glue gun...

And there you have it.  Picture this on your mom's counter by the phone.  It's perfect for mothers or pretty much anyone.  Well, except most fathers who already have their own pencil holders...;)  {hee-hee}

Dropping 20 degrees is very painful.   Grandma, I finally get it.  After all of these years of watching you leave your home in sunny Cali to visit us in Oregon and freezing to death, I finally get it. 

And its especially hard after you've been doing things like this...

and this...

or creating things like this.

Yeah, I pretty much feel like the little guy on the right.

And in true "come back from vacation" style I'm drowning in things to catch up on.

You all know exactly what I'm talking about.  So I thought I'd throw a bone to those who may be wondering about our wild adventures.  {Yes, I survived and actually totally thrived in Las Vegas by myself with my 2 little guys!  More about that in a later post...coming sometime;)}
