{Can Wrap} Throw out that briefcase

For many this little project may seem silly. But for anyone who knows my dad it will make complete sense. And this is my gift to him for Father's Day.
His recent hobby is learning to write in caligraphy. You know, the fancy handwriting they used long ago. {Or at least I think they did.} Evidently there is an entire art of it that most of us are unaware of.
When I was home last month visiting, my dad spent alot of time out in the rec room in his little self created cubby. Turns out he was doing his homework. He has been taking these caligraphy art classes at the community college.
I'll have to post some of his work when I get a chance.
In the mean time, let me explain the can. I don't know how he carries his pens & whatever utencils he uses in his work--I think it may be a little briefcase. Well dad, if you're reading this---Throw Out That Briefcase.
You will be the envy of your classmates when you set this awesome can full of your pens, etc on the desk. Look at all of this room for your little goodies!
And for the rest of us, it would be a great little can for tools, a craft organizer, kids toys, or anything else that you can think of. Go crazy. Its a pretty easy project...hopefully I explained it that way!
This is what you'll need:
2 pieces of fabric: 1 for the main wrap & 1 for the pockets
3/4 inch velcro the length of your can
A paint can, coffee can, or anything else that will work!
Let's do this thing!
