More OR Berries

U-pickin'

Trey: "Hey Ethan! Look how many berries I've picked in my bucket!"
Ethan: "I'm an eater, not a picker!"

Full tummies are just one of the perks of U-pick berries! If you've never done it before, you are missing out. You just go out into the field and go for it.

Blueberries are usually about $.95/lb...and you get to pick the biggest best tastiest berries ever. (Yes, I'm a fan & I took a ton of pictures!) We went a few times, and here's some photos of this fun adventure...

{The Field} The 1st field we visited was in Hillsboro. The berries were still a little green, so we really had to hunt for the best ones.

{Ethan, Lucy, & Trey} Hmmm, look who's missing a bucket?

{Babies get it}
Even Aidan got in on the action. His diapers definitely proved to us that he LOVES berries.:)

As soon as he figured out he could get the berries out of the bucket it was all over...

{Proud little Lu} She was excited about this big berry!

{Oh Yeah} Its amazing what a week or ripening can do!

{Go Peter!} This time we went with Peter, Mary, & Greyson. Check out Greyson's hand in the berries...however, he wasn't going to eat them, he wanted to throw them! Funny little guy.

Trey's Birthday!

Its hard to believe its been 5 years since I went to visit this little man in the hospital when he was born! I remember holding him in my arms and crying-he was so sweet and small. I was 6 months pregnant with Ethan at the time and actually started to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Well, the days of cuddling this fireball are over. He is a silly, smart, funny little guy. This visit my favorite line from Trey is "Toad, why do you keep taking pictures of me!"

Ethan had his eyes opened this trip with Trey introducing him to the world of batman, spiderman, and any other man that had any sort of super power. So when Trey chose to have a superhero party I wasn't surprised!

However, the night before the superhero party was the "family" party. Great Grandma Smith even braved all the kids and came. We love her!

The next day was Trey's real deal...

As you can see, he was Batman! Tanya made some super cupcakes & had the kids using their "superhero" strength by timing them in a number of activities and a great obstacle course.

Here is one of Trey's little friends...Catwomen. I got the biggest kick out of her.

These H20 bottles were my small contribution...you can make these labels easily in word or photoshop. I used photoshop for these ones. (I can explain how if you'd like...just let me know in the comments.)
